About This Book

Ella Enchanted is a book about a girl named Ella. Ella is under a curse, she has to do anything that people tell her to do. In the book Ella struggles to find a way to break the curse.

Ella is also a rebel. She hates to have to do anything. That’s why the curse is an enormous burden. She is very stubborn and very clever. She is also very kind.

What’s in Ella Enchanted?

-Danger; Ella sometimes bumps into trouble because of the curse, and runs into danger trying to break it.

-Adventure; Ella also goes on a quest to break the curse.

-A little bit of romance (A.K.A. marriage and kissing); There is a prince that Ella falls in love with.

-Magic; This includes fairies who cast spells that are both good and bad.

-Mythical creatures; Centaurs, Gnomes, Elves, and Ogres.

-Languages and kingdoms; One of Ella’s friends is from another kingdom, and speaks a different language than her.

My Star Rating

I rate this book 5 stars. I like how Ella is so determined to break the curse. The author really succeeded in making her just the same as any other normal girl. It has the perfect mix between happy and run-for-your-life stuff.
